BREAKING: YES! A top watchdog group targets Pete Hegseth’s corrupt wife by hitting the Pentagon with a massive lawsuit to expose her for abusing power, attending military meetings, and exploiting DOD staff.

“The nation’s leading pro-democracy organization is taking the Trump-Vance administration to court to force the government to reveal public documents they are attempting to hide relating to the possibly significant role Jennifer Hegseth, wife of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, plays in important national defense decisions,” Democracy Forward announced in a press release.
The organization has filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, aimed at forcing the Department of Defense to produce documents that were previously requested under FOIA.
Those documents include records that identify “any DOD staff assigned to assist, staff, or support Jennifer Hegseth, either on a temporary or extended basis” as well as calendars and calendar invites connected to her. Additionally, the request asks for all records related to her attendance at any DOD meetings.
Hegseth, who is a Fox News alumna like her incompetent husband, has reportedly played a “substantial and unofficial role” at the Defense Department, despite having zero qualifications or legal authority. Notably, she was in the now-infamous Signal chat in which Secretary Hegseth shared sensitive details about impending U.S. military strikes in Yemen.
This woman represents yet another example of this administration granting inappropriate power and influence to family members of top officials. If indeed she has been bossing Defense Department staff around, that would be tantamount to our tax dollars going towards providing her with servants. Our entire country is being run like a banana republic. It’s disgraceful.
“Our democracy cannot function effectively if the government is allowed to hide public information about how crucial decisions are made,” stated Skye Perryman, the President and CEO of Democracy Forward.
“If the Secretary of Defense is relying on anyone – including his wife – to help run his office, make important decisions, and avoid accountability, then they should be subject to the same ethics obligations as any and every other civil servant,” she added. “This administration has a shameful record of complying with public records requests and we will continue to use every legal tool at our disposal to allow the people to know what their government is up to. Democracy demands transparency.”
