Ynet reports he’ll land at a military field in New Jersey or at Newark rather than JFK, partly over complications involving Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and his team is bracing for heckling or a walkout by entire delegations during his speech.

Meetings with Marco Rubio and other foreign leaders are still being weighed, but nothing with the president is on the books.

Trump has spent this week sitting with Gulf leaders and sending Witkoff and Kushner into three hours of talks with Iran’s delegation, so Washington’s whole focus right now is on finding a way out of this war.

Netanyahu is 35 days from an election he’s losing and walking into a hall that may empty out on him, and the president who could hand him a headline has no time on the calendar.

Whatever surprise he’s saving for Iran, it has to be big enough to change a race back home, which is EXACTLY the kind of pressure that produces reckless announcements.
